Tom Evans
Director of Business Development
Tom started his career in live production in 2005, working his way out of a warehouse in San Francisco and into the heart of the industry. After years of freelancing, touring, and running major festival shows, he naturally gravitated toward the business side — building relationships on the road and learning how to sell shows from the ground up. In 2017, Tom joined Matrix and played a key role in the company’s growth and expansion. Today, he leads the business development team and manages some of Matrix’s largest and most high-profile accounts.

Project Manager
Matt brings a deep technical background and a sharp eye for design to every show he touches. Before joining Matrix in 2021, he spent six years teching and project managing large-scale festivals, gaining hands-on experience in fast-paced, highstakes environments. At Matrix, Matt plays a key role in the design and engineering process — from early renderings in Vectorworks to final show execution. Known for his precision and problem-solving, Matt ensures every project runs smoothly, looks incredible, and meets the highest standards of production.
Nick Taylor
Account Executive
Nick brings a unique blend of hospitality, hustle, and production know-how to the Matrix team. Before joining the company in 2019, he worked as a VIP host in Las Vegas — sharpening his skills in client service, fast problem-solving, and high pressure environments. Now an Account Executive at Matrix, Nick manages some of the company’s largest accounts and is known for his creative approach to challenges. Whether it’s on-site or behind the scenes, Nick is the Swiss Army knife of the team — a true jack of all trades who gets things done.
